Watch out ......There's a thief about!

A resident got home from holiday & was unpacking his car, taking one case into his house on a Sunday evening at9 p.m. There was no-one in the street at that time. By the time he went outside again to fetch other items, someone had stolen his Sat Nav, his expensive aviation specs, and his wallet from the glove box and on looking around the street still seemed to be deserted.
This seems to be yet another style of opportunist theft - of which there are so many. We are concerned that there will be more of this type of theft with the economy moving down, so we are urging everyone to be extra vigilant and to report any suspicious cars or persons to the Police immediately on 0116 222 222... Police Request

This is a request for information from Harborough & Lutterworth police in conjunction with the Harborough District Neighbourhood Watch Association.
To improve our intelligence of car boot sales in the local area, we need your help. Naturally we are aware of most of the larger car boot sales that occur regularly across our patch but we would like to make sure that we have all the available information.
If you are aware of a car boot sale near where you live or work, either a boot sale which happens regularly or even just a one-off, we would like to know as much information as possible. Ideally we would like to know:-
. Where it is held
. When it is held (dates and times if possible)
. Who runs or organises it (including any contact details)
You can e-mail this information to me on mktharb.lpu@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk or you can leave the details on Henry Whatley's answer machine by phoning 0116 248 3875.
Your help in providing this information may well help us to detect crime and to return stolen property to its rightful owners.
Your assistance is appreciated.
